Summary
We will attempt to give prominence to the various aspects of the relationship that the man
of the Byzantine era developed with his natural environment. In this context, we will talk
about the catalytic role of History in exploring contemporary queries concerning the
evolution of the natural environment, with main objective the man, his present and his
future.
