You are invited on the 30th season of FIRST LEGO LEAGUE! Get ready to check out the engines, take off, and get into orbit. The biggest Hellenic Competition for Educational Robotics, Research and Innovation for children and this year in Volos!

The FIRST LEGO League for this school year 2018 - 2019 is under the auspices of the President of the Greek Republic, Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos, has the title "Into Orbit". More than 300,000 children around the world imagine traveling with their team to space, to explore, learn, and find solutions as universe scientists and engineers. During the season, teams will choose and solve a real problem within the Project. They will build, test and plan an autonomous robot to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. During the preparation and duration of the contest, the children will work together and discover new research paths

There are qualifying games in Athens, Volos, Veria, Thessaloniki, Crete & Xanthi. Only the 1/3 of the participating teams will take part in the big final competition on March 2019 in Thessaloniki. In Volos, for second year, on February 2, 2019 at the University of Thessaly (Argonafton and Filellinon) more than 120 children from Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa and Volos will take part to the semi-final competition solving a realistic problem about space and its mysteries. An exclusive organizer for Greece and Cyprus is the eduACT (Educational and Non-profit Association), which aims to promote innovative educational practices and technology. Strategic partner and co-organizer for the whole region of Thessaly is the University of Thessaly through the Development and Management Company University of Thessaly
An informative meeting and a brief presentation of the Competition, the track and this year's missions to coaches and mentors who are interested in taking part with their teams will take place on Friday 16 November 2018 at 19:30. at the Amphitheater of the former French Institute (G.
